We spent more than five years developing this world’s first overland route. The mission - to see all eight of the world’s ten tallest mountains within Nepal’s borders. The capstone to this feat was including an eyes-on view of the tallest peak on earth - Mount Everest. Of the few motorcycle touring companies in Nepal, none offer the exclusive routes we have pioneered over the years. Simply put, we go where no other outfitter can. It helps us create the most authentic travel experience to places few outsiders get to see.

It’s not uncommon for companies in Nepal to book groups as large as 15-20 riders. We never exceed 9, with 8 our standard size.

We don’t just ride, we travel. This means we spend ample time off the bikes to explore Nepal. An average ride day is between 4-6 hours.

We don’t like to use the word, “tour.” We create travel experiences with enough latitude to let the adventure unfold organically. That means each trip is unique and reflects the chemistry of each small group. We’re also the most innovative outfitters in Nepal and always folding in new routes and fresh cultural experiences.
Royal Enfield Motorcycles
When the first roads were scratched into the world’s biggest mountains the pioneering machines to traverse them were Royal Enfield motorcycles. Stalwarts of Himalayan travel, we find they are perfect for our type of travel. Simple and easily repaired in the field, they have served us well and we wouldn’t use anything else.
This is not a place where big bikes with big horsepower fair well. Reliability, simplicity, and durability are priceless features when the nearest dealer or repair shop is a week’s ride away.

How is the riding?
We put the adventure back in adventure riding. Our routes don’t have a single dull mile with something exciting around every turn. From confident novice to seasoned pro, we have routes for all abilities. There is nothing quite like a ride through Nepal.
The Far Xplorer Expedition Basecamp
Private sleeping tents, a full staff of cooks and porters, multi-course meals served in a dining tent, hot showers, and a proper flushing restroom.
This is how we are able to go ANYWHERE.
For 2026 our two remote trips serviced by our exclusive expedition basecamp are the Great Himalayan Traverse and Eight Summits expeditions. All other trips include hotel, lodge, and teahouse accommodations.
